Provides access to the Key Texts for your programme all in one place. You can use BibliU online and offline using a web browser or a mobile app for Android or IOS and as this is your own personal Library you will also have the ability to highlight and take notes.

Cambridge University Press Journals collection

Cambridge University Press Journals collection consists of more than 420 peer-reviewed academic journals covering subjects across the humanities, social sciences and science, technology and medicine.

A multi-disciplinary collection of e-books aligned to Arden’s programmes.

EBSCO eBook Collection

A multi-disciplinary collection of e-books aligned to Arden’s programmes.

EBSCO Open Dissertations

A database with records for more than 1.2 million electronic theses and dissertations from around the world.

Flipster Magazines

Flipster is a magazine subscription platform, containing a selection of art and design magazines, including 3 x 3, Communication Arts, Juxtapoz, Wallpaper and Wired.

GALE Business: Insights

Gale Business: Insights provides users with detailed financial, historical, and current event information on over 400,000 companies, industries, and countries. Users can easily find Plunkett Reports, SWOT analyses, case studies, comparison charts, scholarly journals, and more.

Gale Power Search

GALE Power Search is a cross-search platform that enables users to do one search across multiple GALE databases.

Gale Research Complete

Gale Research Complete contains a wealth of resources including Gale eBooks (books and encyclopaedias), Gale Academic OneFile (journals), Gale General OneFile (magazines), Gale OneFile News (current newspapers), Gale Literature (English literature resources) and Archives Unbound (primary historical sources). 

IBIS World

Provides access to thousands of industry research reports, providing students with the same industry intelligence and tools used by companies around the world.   

Newswires 

Provides near real-time access to top world-wide news from Associated Press, United Press International, PR Newswire, Xinhua, CNN Wire, and Business Wire on a continuous basis. 

SAGE Journals Premier Collection

Provides access to journal titles across a range of subjects and sub-disciplines.

ScienceDirect Freedom Collection

ScienceDirect provides access to the scientific, technical and medical journals of Elsevier and participating publishers. It contains more than 18 million articles and book chapters from over 2,650 peer-reviewed journals and 42,000 e-books, including books, book series and major reference works, and digital archives that reach as far back as 1823.

Statista

Statista is a data and statistics platform that consolidates more than 1 million statistics over 80,000 topics from more than 22,500 sources.

Professional Bodies and Associations

Professional bodies and associations are organisations you will engage with throughout your career. Becoming familiar with them during your studies is a great way to keep up to date with developments in your field and build your professional network.

AIGA

As the profession’s oldest and largest professional membership organization for design—with more than 70 chapters and more than 15,000 members—the AIGA seek to advance design as a professional craft, strategic advantage, and vital cultural force.

Arts Council England

A national development agency for creativity and culture. They want organisations, artists, events and others to apply for their funding and help grow skills, knowledge and networks to establish the conditions in which creativity and culture can flourish across the country.

BREEAM

Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM), first published by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in 1990, is the world's longest established method of assessing, rating, and certifying the sustainability of buildings. 

Crafts Council

Founded in 1972, the Crafts Council is the national charity for craft. It aims to inspire making, empower learning and nurture craft businesses.

D&AD

A British educational organisation that was created in 1962 to promote excellence in design and advertising.

Design History Society

An arts history organisation founded in 1977 to promote and support the study and understanding of design history. The Society undertakes a range of charitable activities intended to encourage and support research and scholarship, to offer information and create networking opportunities, to foster student participation and public recognition of the subject, and to support regional links and events. 

Royal Scottish Academy

Scotland's national academy of art, promoting Scottish contemporary art.

The Association of Illustrators

A British trade association for illustration, to advance and protect illustrators' rights.

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI)

Backed by Royal Charter, the CMI works with business and education to inspire people to become skilled, confident and successful managers and leaders.

The Chartered Society of Designers

The only Royal Chartered body of professional designers. Its membership is multi-disciplinary – representing designers in all design disciplines including Interior Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Fashion and Textile Design.

The International Society of Typographic Designers

The International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) is a professional body run by and for typographers, graphic designers, and educators. 

The Society of British and International Design (SBID)

The UK body for interior design and the interior design profession. SBID provides support for members and partners worldwide by setting standards for education in interior design as well as professional conduct, CPD and training, technical services, publications and events both in the UK and overseas.
