Legislation.gov.uk

Legislation.gov.uk carries most (but not all) types of legislation and their accompanying explanatory documents.  All legislation from 1988 is available (with a few minor exceptions). Legislation.gov.uk is a free resource but note it may not be as up to date as databased such as Westlaw UK. Check the status of any Act to see if it is provided in its original version, or if it has been revised.

Lexis+

Lexis+ is a legal database offering access to UK, EU and international case law, legislation, legal journals, commentary texts, current awareness, and news. The database also contains a range of practitioner texts.

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is a video-based online learning platform with more than 16,500 professionally created courses, designed to help you gain new skills and advance your career. To access LinkedIn Learning, sign in using your Arden Office 365 credentials. The first time you log in, you will need to answer some set-up questions to get you started and ensure the content is relevant to your learning needs.

Management Direct

Management Direct is the Learning Portal of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Students studying Arden’s CMI accredited programmes receive access to Management Direct as part of their CMI membership.

Your CMI username is your Arden Office 365 email address (STUxxxx@ardenuniversity.ac.uk). If you are unsure of your password you can reset it using this link.

MEDLINE

MEDLINE is an authoritative bibliographic database containing citations and abstracts for biomedical and health journals.
